A beautiful hotel right in the heart of Manhattan. not only right down the street from Penn Station/Madison Sq Garden, but is where Amtrak employees stay while in the Big Apple. Very close to the Empire State Building, and just a subway ride away from anything from Time Square to Grand Central to Shea Stadium. Highly recommended by all Amtrak Employees

Diagonally across the street from Pennsylvania Station, Southgate Town is my recommendation over neighboring Hotel Pennsylvania. Most rooms are suites with kitchen and refrigerator. The atmosphere is geared more toward business clients versus the sometimes large and young tour groups I have found at Hotel Pennsylvania.
