Every year the trees and bushes on the RR side are getting taller, inhibitting the otherwise excellent location. Has become very pricey.

The Staff was very helpful with my request of a Trackside Room, Front Desk Clerk said if the Tree was blocking my view of the tracks, they would move me to another room. One of the nicest and most comfortable hotels I've stayed in. Recommend it to anyone railfanning on the CSX - Sand Patch/Mountain Sub/Magnolia Cut-Off. Directly located across the street from the Main Line/Yard Tracks and Amtrak Station.``Also - Resturant located in the hotel on ground floor has good food and a great trackside view.
