I stayed here for the second time over the Presidents' Day Holiday, 2006. The room was clean and comfortable. There were two small maintenance items (burnt out bulb, non-fuctioning floor lamp) that couldn't be taken care of due to lack of a maintenance man on weekends. Hotel is generally very well kept and certainly convenient to AMTRAK, Jack London Square, BART (easy walk up Broadway to 12th Street or bus across from hotel) and Oakland/Alameda/San Francisco Ferry.. Don't forget to ask for your $2.50 meal voucher (one per guest per day)good all day at the excellent Buttercup Cafe that is part of the hotel.
