I noticed this while driving 4th Street (Business 10), parallels UP through Benson. This motel appears to date from the 40s or 50s(like you see in old Route 66 pictures) and is across the street from the UP (SP Sunset) mainline. There are grade crossings nearby; you WILL hear the horns and the rumble of the trains! Amtrak 'shed' for Benson stop is nearby also.
