This brand-new, all-suites hotel is located on the opposite side of the UP tracks from the Amtrak Emeryville station. The suites are luxurious and spacious; each one has multiple rooms and its own kitchen. Be sure to ask for an odd-numbered room above the 2nd floor to get a track view.

Hotel is located directly on the Sacramento River offering spectacular views of the river, the Capitol and Old Sacramento. For a view of the tracks, the best rooms are probably 201 through 211, though rooms x01 through x11 on any floor are probably good. The tracks are of the tourist train at the California State Railroad Museum that goes back and forth on the tracks several times each day.
