The Tunnel Inn is located in the town of Gallitzin PA @ the mouth of the Alleghany Tunnel. Located on the Former Conrail now Norfolk Southern Pittsburgh Divison, you can see 60+ Trains pass by the inn daily. Also 4 Amtrak's pass by. Most Trains pass by in Run-8 and with Helper Sets on the rear. NS Pit. Divison Tracks 2&3 pass by the inn. Great for those railfanning in the Altoona PA Area. Railroad: NS, Amtrak.

The Lackawanna Station, Built in 1908, is listed with the U.S. National Registrar of Historic Places. Today, as The Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel, it is a very nice hotel and the station's original ambience has been retained.
