I dont know the exact location of this Hotel, but I know its on the west side of town on rte. 38. This is the same UPRR line that goes through Rochelle,IL. About $40-60 per night.

Trackside B&B 100'from double track BNSF(exSF)60-70 trains daily screaming by in about 15 different color schemes. Two large decks one with hot-tub over look tracks. Classification yards ten miles away with bridge with railfan lanes overlooking the yards. Seven lines in Galesburg to railfan. Six Amtraks daily serving the city.
