Bed and Breakfast is located within 100 feet of the BNSF double track main line with about 60 trains a day including the Amtrak Empire Builder with stops at towns to the east and west of New York Mills where the B&B is located. You have a choice of staying at two beautifully restored Pullman Palace cars, a 1893 caboose, a Santa Fe cottage, or rooms in the huge Victorian style house.

This motel is situated along US 10 and is approx. 2 miles west of Wadena, MN. Its a 2 story motel with balcony/walkway type viewing on the top level and its only stone's throw away from the busy Transcontinental BNSF mainline (STAPLES subdivision). Approximately 50-60 trains pass through each day, lots of coal and Intermodal and AMTRAK's "EMPIRE BUILDER" passes through. Price is very reasonable ($45.00) considering the motel is going through upgrades, some rooms still need work.
