This is a real nice,clean place,located about 1/4 mile from the Cassandra Railroad Overlook. John(the owner)of the motel also takes care of the overlook. He also has a lot of railroad memorabilia at the motel office/store.

This place is near the tracks and the owner has a store/gift shop. A 1/4 mile from the motel is the Overlook,it is a GREAT place to watch trains. There is a bridge over the tracks, and you can see a signal bridge to the west to see if a train is coming from the east, you can see about 3 miles to the west for east bound trains.
