Luxury Accomadations for the Railfan can be found at this Hilton Hotel. Rooms on the Upper Level (5-6th Floor), facing the Railroad can be requested. Amtrak Long/Short Haul Trains, VRE Commuter Trains, Norfolk Southern & CSX Freight's can be seen from your hotel room. Also the Tropicana Juice Train runs past the hotel on CSX's former RF&P Main. The Washington Metro Subway runs alongside the CSX Main passing by the Hilton.

Built in 1992,with 14 guest rooms,only 50 steps from mainline Amtrak and CSX, where 50+ trains go by daily. Train watching is a pleasure from the Inns' porches while enjoying a homemade continental plus breakfast. We have a weekend restaurant and an art and gift shop filled with train treasures. Across the street is the 1922 RF&P train station (a replica is in the Smithsonian Institute) which today houses the Ashland/Hanover Visitors Center, Amtrak station and local railroad museum.
